When I saw you lying in that bed, Helpless, random, weak, My eyes burned but I could not feel, Tears on my Special cheeks, I know we can’t be but I’m gonna try, When I think of you these words come to my mind, Zane-la, Tally-wa, you and me, It’s up to us, While alone we may be scared to try, Together we’re a Special Circumstance, I remember the first day, I looked into your eyes, We shared that bubbly secret, And so much more besides, I know we can’t be but I’m gonna try, When I think of you these words come to my mind, Zane-la, Tally-wa, you and me, It’s up to us, While alone we may be scared to try, Together we’re a Special Circumstance, Memories are twisting around me, I can’t find them, no matter how I try, Blindly, I reach out to catch one, And find it’s already drifted by, I know we can’t be but I’m gonna try, When I think of you these words come to my mind, Zane-la, Tally-wa, you and me, It’s up to us, While alone we may be scared to try, Together we’re a Special Circumstance, Together we’re a Special Circumstance.

Well, I thought it was great when I was writing it, but now I don’t know… whatever.
I put it to music too and played it as a song.

I know… actually I hate Zane too! I wrote the poem ’cause it was a fun challenge to write about my least favorite character!

Wow, this is a really good poem. I mean, I LOVELOVELOVE Zane, and I wished he & Tally had ended up together…. But now, he’s, um, dead. So I guess that didn’t work. Anyways, magnificent writing, someone should publish this in, like, a fanmag or something.

Thanks, Agent Muffinboots! It was fun to write about Tally&Zane, because I really didn’t want them to be together. (Not that I was happy or anything when Zane died… but I really thought Tally didn’t belong with him.) Anyway, thanks a lot for your nice comment!
